First, this Sixt office at the train station is open at 7am. That made a big difference as our cruise ship was in port at 7am and many other companies did not open til 8am or later. We took a 10 minute taxi ride there.
The employees at this Sixt branch were so helpful and friendly! They answered all our questions, gave us directions to get out of the city and even made recommendations to us for future stops on our cruise. We were walked to the car park, and later when we returned, an friendly agent gave us a map and helped us with directions back to the cruise ship. (We wanted to walk off some of that cruise food!)
The car was exactly what we asked for and was almost new. The agent said Sixt was considering putting an office near the cruise piers. That would be GREAT! He also mentioned if we call the office, they will bring the car to the pier for an additional fee. Good to know for next time!
