I just read many of the reviews and find them interesting. I don't rent often but the two times that I have used Sixt I found them excellent. One complaint that I see is that the customer service is lacking. I found quite the opposite. It is not an airport location so there is not a lot of staff. I had to wait a bit but less than waiting in an airport line. The cars are not on-site. I had to wait a bit for a car, but it was explained to me that my car was off-site and there was a train passing between me and the car. I prepaid and there were NO hidden fees. There were OPTIONS, as there always are. I passed on all. One thing that is disappointing in the rental experience EVERYWHERE is the cost of insurance. I wish there was something reasonable just for piece of mind. I have my own insurance but I'm sure the start to finish process of an accident involving a rental would be very unpleasant. I got a great deal on the car. The service was great. The car was great.
