Overall, great experience.


Initially I was skeptical due to the incredibly low rates, so I had alternate plans in place just in case things went south. However, the whole experience was very smooth! A couple of observations:


1. The Sixt Rental Location is far from the other companies (Alamo, Avis, Hertz, etc.) at DEN.

2. Interacted with 2 employees (1 Rental; 1 Return). Both were very friendly and helpful; A++.

3. Vehicle was very nice. Booked a Premium SUV and got a M-Benz GLA.

4. The required deposit was very high.


The only unknown at this point is the deposit return. Will update when I receive the deposit refund back onto my credit card.

I can't believe there are negative reviews; my experience was stellar. First off, Sixt is a lot less expensive than other rental agencies. I saw this but rented the car, and I was expecting---nothing much. The exact opposite is what I got! First, we got in and out in two minutes at the counter, and then we were told where the car was. I couldn't believe the car in the spot was the right one. It was larger than I thought, roomy, with all sorts of amenities like heated seats and so much leg room--nicer than my own car! The location is a ways away, but it's still close, and you get a great car for an AMAZING price. I will rent from them again--thanks, Sixt! Denver Sixt ROCKS!!


Also: After reading the other negative reviews, I have to comment. The person who complained about the high cost of gas if you don't bring the car back with a full tank: this is true at EVERY car rental agency! There were lots of gas stations within 10 miles of the airport that we picked from to fill up the tank beforehand. And to the people who complained that the person who reserved the car had to be there in person when it is picked up--you could have called Sixt and asked that question ahead of time, like I did. This is for your protection so nobody but YOU--the person who rented the car--is actually charged for it. I called that morning as I wanted my son to pick it up himself, and they told me that I had to be there. So be pro-active, get the information ahead of time, and stop at a gas station!

Excellent customer service, first time ever no pressure to upgrade, upsell. Short wait checking in and out. Online experience was straightforward, and no sticker shock at the airport w additional fees and surcharges and taxes. Will definitely use sixt again.
